We’re on the hunt for a Field Team Driver/Mover/Installer + Warehouse Team Member
Relics’ Field Team Members are friendly & helpful in all that they do. Often times, they are the first face the client sees on event day & the last impression they have of Relics. They work cohesively with other event team members to efficiently, quickly, & safely deliver & retrieve equipment in the field. They are detail-oriented & quality champions. They must be thoughtful about their daily tasks & anticipate the needs of our clients & the Relics team, while maintaining the integrity of the company & brand.
They are an organized & detail-oriented person who takes great pride in the quality of product we rent. They are responsible for performing essential duties related to the warehouse such as pulling, prepping, & protecting equipment & rentals for deliveries. They have working knowledge of the warehouse & Relics inventory. This person must be thoughtful about their daily tasks & anticipate the needs of our clients & the Relics’ team while always maintaining the integrity of the company & brand.

STRUCTURE:
- FULL TIME OR PART TIME
- HOURLY, PAID BIMONTHLY
- TYPICALLY, MONDAY – FRIDAY HOWEVER DAYS AND HOURS VARY AS NEEDED DURING BUSY SEASON
What we’re looking for:
- Available to work Monday-Friday at the Relics Shack
- Available for after-hours work to service offsite events
- Capable of working on their feet for long periods and lifting and moving large furniture up to 60 lbs
- A valid driver’s license and clean driving record are a must to haul our treasures to the event site and back (in a non-CDL box truck)
- Have excellent communication skills, possess an unwavering attention to detail, and have the ability to perform tasks independently
- Be able to represent Relics Rentals professionally while providing exceptional customer service
- Have basic computer knowledge
- Familiarity with driving a wide variety of vehicles, including box trucks up to 26′ in length (no CDL required) preferred
- Familiarity with basic tools preferred
- Starting pay is negotiable
- Our workshop space is included as a perk for own personal use outside of work hours
- Bonus points if you have experience in the event or rental industry or have previously worked with furniture
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist Warehouse Manager when needed
- Execute the ready-to-rent process and procedure
- Excecute the material handling process and procedure
- Monitor the quality of inventory and maintain the highest quality product
- Organize and clean warehouse as necessary keeping all exits and aisles clear from blockage
- Follow procedures set in place for morning and evening warehouse operations
- Schedule delivery personnel and trucks as required by size of orders and logistics schedule
- Pick, pull, clean, and packing of rentals
- Dispatch rental items to dock area for will-call orders or load into trucks for delivery orders
- Assist with delivery & retrieval duties as assigned
- Assist/lead delivery and strike team out in the field
- Identify themselves to customers upon arrival as the point of contact
- Walk client’s point of contact through placement of all equipment before and after setup
- Work efficiently with time management skills to ensure event is setup or retrieved within projected labor budget and within designated timeframe
- Inspect all pieces upon pickup for any stains, breakage, damage, or missing pieces and immediately communicate any findings to point of contact and Relics dispatcher
- Maintain communication with the operation and dispatch departments upon arrival and departure as well as any issues or changes onsite
- Accuracy with all paperwork
- Protect equipment through proper use of material handling and proper loading of trucks
- Be respectful of venue’s rules and regulations and treat the property with the utmost care
- Be on call for delivery crew questions or on-site client emergencies
- Follow all safety protocols
- Maintain a clean driving record
- Warehouse duties as assigned
